It was in fact a 2007 Harley-Davidson Softail Springer Classic semi-customized to reflect the movie's 1957 period setting, but not only was the engine wrong, so were the front disc brakes that stood out like a sore thumb. And the bike itself dwarfed LeBeouf making him look even more like a child. If they were going for the Brando or "Wild One" look, they should have used a Triumph which would have been more accurate and proportionate to the rider.
