Well, I didn't, but someone did in 1990 and it was a Norton. Anthony Daniels (C-3PO in Star Wars) stars as a priest. Vampires, British motorcycles and C-3PO? More screencaps at taliesinttlg
"This is a bad motorcycle. It runs on blood."
Here's the excellent trailer just in time for Halloween:
And an interview that includes C-3PO star, Anthony Daniels at 1:18. His character says threateningly, "Let's go and kick some bottom."
Can you identify this bike? I ran across this 1930s period movie, "Easy Virtue" last night and got a smile ear-to-ear when my eyes beheld one of the most appealing things in the world. Jessica Biel, in leather and goggles tearing across the English countryside on a vintage British motorcycle.
The movie could have been only that, over and over, and I would have paid full admission!
This 1971 vintage, silver, metalflake helmet has been mine for the past 18 months. Size M/L. The foam is all intact, the material is all attached, even the center foam piece is still there. The strap is in perfect condition. Great condition for the age. There are no tears, cracks or damage, just usual wear. There are some minor marks on the helmet, but it's never been dropped.
The talented brutes at Trojan Classicsrecently finished an awesome 1963 Triumph T100 bobber for Australian industrial artist Filip Sawczuk. Filip took it as far as he could before handing it over for the complete mech teardown. You can see the entire progress on a thread over at Jockey Journal. I love the raw tank, the black rims and Filip's little details like the tag on the tank.
Here's how it looked before:
Filip designs fixtures that look like they were built by robots in the future year of 1947.
I like helmets and masks, I don't think that's a secret. The Ukrainian workshop called Bob Basset is full of artistic geniuses. Petrov and his group have done these leather masks for several years and are now showing up on the fashion catwalks. I wish I would have had one of these leather mask-helmets all through elementary school because I would have worn it everyday.
And I mean in the classroom.
Can't wait for the Cafe Racer series. The pilot was cool, the magazine is relevant to many that feel like there is nothing like this available, and now it's on HD television. Great shots too. You'll find yourself hitting pause throughout the promo just to see all the cool bikes, riders, and girls. Glad to see this coming!
Airing on Discovery HD Theater October 13th @ 9PM EST

You can find clips of almost the entire film on youtube. Or on DVD. A goofball tale of 1960s British bikers who kill themselves so as to return as undead bikers... but they look the same as before. Zombie bikers would be better.
