Bull City Rumble 2011 Photos

This year was huge. From the numbers I've heard, on Friday night 60-100 of us rolled up to a tavern, then headed to a local cafe (a place that was predetermined and arranged with the owner. The cafe owner then got upset when so many bikers showed up and said that we were "chasing" away his customers! So the large majority of us tore off to the Fullsteam Brewery in what became a very dramatic show of volume, exhaust fumes and tail lights. It was like a scene out of some 1950s movie. On Saturday, my sweet girls and I set up the Thunderdome and got to hang out with the nicest people you'd ever meet. So many bikes this year!

Ready to Rumble!

The only thing I don't like about sponsoring an event is having to haul supplies instead of just riding in. Regardless, the Enfield and lots of gear from HMT are ready for the Bull City Rumble this weekend. Mods and Rockers, the forecast calls for Thunder.

Every year Her Majesty's Thunder sponsors the Bull City Rumble (formerly the Raleigh Rumble) in Durham, NC. Held, September 2-3, 2011. The schedule includes a Friday night bike gathering, Saturday bike show, sponsors and vendors, bands and a swap meet.  Ton-up North Carolina describes it as:

"The 2011 Rumble... will be taking place on West Main St. of the Historic Brightleaf District of Downtown Durham. The street will be closed off for show bikes, vendors and spectators."

HMT Sponsors 2010 Bull City Rumble

This will be our third year attending and our second year sponsoring the 2010 Bull City Rumble, Sep. 3-4.. In the past it was called the Raleigh Rumble, but it's moving to Durham this year, hence the Bull City change. Put on by Ton-Up NC, the show is a Mods vs Rockers event with vintage British motorcycles, cafe racers and scooters. You'll probably see a few Brit Iron Rebels too. Ticket sales always go to a charity and this year it's Independent Animal Rescue. As always they have a cool shirt! Check out these pics and video from last year. Come see us at the Thunderdome!
