Born Free 4

Born Free is a young, but massively growing vintage motorcycle show in southern California. Photographer Chris Cullen who, shot these photos at Born Free 4, shares his images with Her Majesty's Thunder. I've included some British highlights below, but click on over to his Flickr page for loads of killer custom bikes. More pics over at the Mooneyes site as well.

Men's FIle Features Ton Up Boys, Royal Enfield

There's a new culture magazine out there that really gets me. Old motorcycles, early 1950s gear, noir, soap box derbies, rockabilly girls and 1953 Chevys. The latest "Men's File" magazine is out and it's packed with some great spreads featuring goggled Ton Up Boys and their bikes and some very cool images showing the new Royal Enfield Bullet C5  in a cleverly staged, Brando-styled environment. Much more photos at the site.
Get the issue at TheMagazineMan.co.uk for about $12 or £7
Note: Men's File photo spreads are occasionally NSFW.

Vintage British Motorcycle Training Film for Squares

Square Tom on a Matchless vs his Rocker friend on a Triumph battle it out in this old moto safety film. Lotsa cool stuff in this one. Who will make it to the finish line first? Also, the old way of signaling for a stop looks like you're wafting away your body odor. Glad we evolved on that one.
