Born Free 4
Born Free is a young, but massively growing vintage motorcycle show in southern California. Photographer Chris Cullen who, shot these photos at Born Free 4, shares his images with Her Majesty's Thunder. Individually, each bike is impressive but that line-up photo reveals an almost production line sameness. Clean, open layout, small tank, no front fender, skinny front wheel, springer front forks, minimalist seat. Within this discipline the details are marvelous. But overall there's a "me-too" feeling that is surprising.
