Bring the Thunder

Dan "Porkchop" Raleigh is serving overseas, representing HMT with our patches. We are honored and appreciate your service, Dan. Stay safe, brother.

"Chris, I took some photos with the patches on my uniform (not sure if the Army would accept sponsorship or not, but I think the look could catch on!) - I think the patch with the 'Airborne' tab works well. Perhaps the HMT Airborne Battalion... I'll see if I can recruit some mates. Couple more bike pics for you from the past couple weeks. Found an abandoned bike outside an Afghan base and gave it a bit of attention....got it up and running! Score a victory for the US. I gave it over to the Afghan army when I was done and I think they thought I was a wizard of some sort.
Cheerio and all the best

The Downshift Cafe Racer Feature

This is admittedly an introduction to cafe racers from Motor Trend's The Downshift, but the shots are cool and the bikes are crackin'. You'll see Deus folks interviewed and some of the guys from the Venice Vintage motorcycle club as well.

Retrofit

A low-slung' Triumph from the Strange Days show. Retrofit is not your typical long-haired Jap-and-Harley skinny-hippie-chopper blog. (Not that there's anything wrong with that.) Check it out here.

Historic Thunder

Friend of Her Majesty's Thunder, Mark Stevens shared some great photos with us showing his family's rich British motorcycle history. The first photo from 1958 is re-enacted in the second photo almost 30 years later in 1987. More coming soon!

Born Free 4

Born Free is a young, but massively growing vintage motorcycle show in southern California. Photographer Chris Cullen who, shot these photos at Born Free 4, shares his images with Her Majesty's Thunder. I've included some British highlights below, but click on over to his Flickr page for loads of killer custom bikes. More pics over at the Mooneyes site as well.
